All week, I've been almost obsessed with reading Gordon Atkinson's essays - amazing writing and the ideas give voice to my path in so many ways. In fact, the writing is so consistently good, that I have thought to myself, is this guy for real? (boy, and I thought Donald Miller was the bees knees!!?) I also listened to your study about "hell" or "hadoo"...the topic has special interest for me as my son, going through confirmation class this year, was taught just this last week, that very idea - that Christians go to heaven, everyone else is burning in hell. (not quite this bluntly, the methodists use more polite language) My son asked some of the hard questions, and sounds like he was basically ignored. Your videos helped cement my ideas on this topic, and will give me the words to have a polite but direct conversation with his teachers. Thank you for working so hard at your writing and for being so brutally honest - it is truly a noble ministry and reaches more people than you will ever know. (I believe your approach, is evangelism at its best) Oh, and by the way, I'll take three copies of the yet-to-be-published book.
